I am an artist, designer, and educator. I work in multiple mediums, ranging from installation and video to websites and publications. I am invested in creating projects that allow for questions that are difficult to ask about opaque technological systems and how these impact on our sense of self, time, and agency.
Collaboration is a big part of my practice. I value multiple perspectives, voices, and entry points in my work in order to best reflect systems that are larger than all of us, and impact each of us in unique ways. Current collaborative projects include: how to slow internet and NetNet
I am Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, after previous teaching appointments at the University of San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley and San Jose State University.
